The bright orange colored Maldives Clownfish - Amphiprion nigripes - belongs to the family of the Reef-Groupers. In case of danger this animal shelters itself inside a sea-anemone, that provides protection with its nettling tentacles. The skin of the clownfisch - Amphiprion bicinctus or Amphiprion nigripes - is covered with a layer of slime, that makes this fish immun against the poison of the amone. The shown clownfish with just one neck-bandage is common only on Maldives.
